How a spin actually works
There are no paylines. After each spin the game counts symbols. Eight or more of one kind, anywhere on the grid, is a win. Those symbols then disappear and new ones fall in from above. That is the tumble. One spin can chain several wins before it stops.
Wins land on about 28.8% of spins. That sounds generous, but most of them are small. A spin that returns 0.5x your stake still counts as a "win". The balance only really moves when orbs join in.
The orbs are the whole game
Orbs are coloured multiplier symbols with values from 2x to 500x. They can drop on any spin. They only count if the spin ends with at least one win. When a tumble sequence finishes, all orb values on screen are added together and applied to the total win of that spin.
A quick example. You bet £1. A tumble chain pays £3. Two orbs landed, 5x and 10x. That makes 15x, so the spin pays £45. Same chain with no orbs? £3. So two spins that look alike can pay very different amounts.
Free spins: where big wins come from
Four or more Zeus scatters anywhere on the grid give 15 free spins. Four scatters also pay 3x, five pay 5x and six pay 100x on the trigger spin. During the round, three or more scatters add 5 more spins.
The big difference from the base game is this. In free spins, every orb that counts is added to a running total. That total then multiplies every later win in the round. Start with a 10x, add a 25x, and the next win is multiplied by 35x. Almost every large result on this game comes from that growing total.
The bonus arrives about once every 448 spins on average. At £1 a spin that is roughly £448 of play between bonuses. Averages hide long gaps, though. Going 1,000 spins without one is normal. Full walkthrough on the free spins page.

Notice the gap between 10–11 and 12+ symbols. Twelve crowns pay 50x. That is why the tumble matters: every drop is another chance to push a symbol count past twelve.
