Gates of Olympus on mobile: no app needed

There is no official Gates of Olympus app from Pragmatic Play. The game is built in HTML5, so it runs in the browser on iPhone, iPad and Android, including the free demo on this site. Real-money play happens in your casino's website or its own app, where the game is loaded inside.

Portrait or landscape?

Both work. Portrait stacks the 6×5 grid with the buttons below it, one-handed play is easy. Landscape gives bigger symbols, which helps when you count gems during a tumble. On small phones, landscape is easier on the eyes.

About "Gates of Olympus apps" in app stores

If you search the App Store or Google Play, you will find apps with Olympus or Zeus in the name. None of them come from Pragmatic Play. Some are harmless free games with a similar theme. Some are fake: they copy the artwork and push you to register or pay.

• Avoid apps that ask for card details to "unlock" spins.
• Avoid APK files from websites or messaging groups.
• Be wary of apps promising "real money" without naming a licensed operator.

Does mobile play differently?

• Sound does not play: check the silent switch on iPhone and the sound toggle inside the game menu.
• Private browsing: some browsers block the game's storage in private mode. Try a normal tab.

You can get app-like access without installing anything. In Safari, tap Share and choose "Add to Home Screen" while on this page. On Android in Chrome, open the menu and choose "Add to home screen". The icon simply opens this page, not a copy of the game, so the demo always loads the current version.
