Gates of Olympus Super Scatter demo: how the 50,000x really works

The Super Scatter in one table

A Super Scatter only pays when it lands as part of a free spins trigger, so four or more scatters in total. The prize depends on how many of them are golden.

So the famous 50,000x is not built from orbs. It is mainly one specific, extremely rare trigger: four golden scatters at once. Slot database figures put the max win at about 1 in 666 million spins. For comparison, that is roughly 240 times rarer than the top prize on the 1000.

What you will see in a real session

Most of the time, it plays exactly like the original Gates of Olympus. Orbs from 2x to 500x, tumbles, 15 free spins from four scatters. The bonus shows up slightly more often, about once every 438 spins against 448.

The one Super Scatter trigger (100x) is the realistic "big" moment here. Two golden ones (500x) are already a rare event. Plan your budget around the orb game, not around the headline number.

Super Free Spins

Where buy features are allowed, the game offers two options. Regular free spins cost 100x your stake. Super Free Spins cost 500x and guarantee every orb in the round is worth at least 10x. That raises the floor of the bonus, not the RTP. A 500x purchase can still end well below 500x.

Hit frequency is a touch lower than the original (27.77% against 28.82%). The difference is small, but you pay for the Super Scatter prizes somewhere. It comes out of the everyday small wins.

Is it worth playing over the original?

If you liked the original, the Super Scatter version is the closest sibling. It feels almost the same, with an extra shot at a scatter prize on each trigger. If you want bigger orbs rather than rare scatters, look at the 2500 instead.
